An absolutely wonderful memoir/travelogue written by Dervla Murphy about her journey by bicycle from Ireland to India in 1963. Originally published in 1965, the book appears to have gone through a number of printings, and with good reason—it is by turns exciting, harrowing, wonderful, humorous and always incredibly charming and well written.
